So yep, I’m back in the world of Social Media after our lovely holiday in The New Forest last week (a few snaps below!) Now its all about Back To School and Christmas prep at HQ with a bit of spooky Halloween thrown in! Its the school holidays, my son is playing a late game of very rough football in the garden with his cousin, booting the ball very loudly every 2 seconds, Poppy is barking & crying for my salmon and I just want to say have it and eat a big slice of chocolate fudge cake instead but I’m on a diet (started today!)

No really, THANKS! A fresh outlook for 2022 was just what I needed! Crazy I know cos now on good old Facebook (where a lot of you lovely customers find me) unfortunately I’ve got to start from scratch. (So don’t forget to pop over soon and give my social media a like. I’ll get the page updated ASAP. Just currently dealing with the £1K daily ad that was set up! Amongst other problems its caused!)

Joking aside, I’ve actually been really upset – I mean who wants a business drawback as you return in the new year? BUT you’ve got to always look for a positive haven’t you? (well, after a cry and quite a few horrendous words) So, I’m just tweaking the website a little and streamlining some products to make way for some exciting new stuff. Valentines is kind of on hold but I have some fab fiver tees for your mini cupids like these…

Its actually much better this time round but gosh notebooks are invaluable aren’t they?! So, what have I been up to..? Anyone that’s local may know that I had a Pop Up Shop recently. Unfortunately Covid stopped me from trading in November but I made it for the beginning of December! I absolutely loved trading for the week and met some lovely new customers. Definitely something I want to continue. I’ll add some pics – my lovely sister came in to see me with a helium balloon! ♥ I’ve been doing lots of behind the scenes stuff too, lots of planning and goal setting plus loads of work on the website, let me know what you think of it so far by getting in touch, I love hearing your ideas and suggestions and I may well send you a little something to say thank you x

Recently Iʻve been working on our NEW PET RANGE! Did you know? We have jute bags, personalised bowls, treat bags – what else would you like to see? Its looking fabulous and i have 2 lovely testers very patiently waiting for their pooches bags!!

I think our spring weather has finally arrived!
Ive got the sunglasses, just need to ditch my “big coat” lol! It really REALLY makes me want to jet off somewhere lovely when the sun is shining – its just freezing still! But we’re 20 weeks on countdown to America now!! We’ve just booked a few days away to a lodge in the Lakes. It has a lovely green for Billy to play football, free wifi for Evie, a pub to please Steve and I and plenty of walks & a stream for Poppy!!
I’ll need my washable tote bag for that definitely! They’re really roomy with long handles & just £14.99 posted – if you’d like one give me a shout on facebook & send me a message – there’s a gorgeous *new* Easter Bunny Designer Doll, shes gorgeous & perfect to bring out every year x I have a very long to do list & getting products on here is at the top!

What have I been up to?
Well I had a fab night out for my birthday, my husband took me out for a lovely meal and far too much wine! And I’ve been out celebrating my sisters birthday. Wine, Gin & Prosecco were involved in that one and we all had a good laugh at some old photos that my Mum brought out with her! I wore my bargain leopard print biker style jacket from Selfridges – (actually it was a Primark concession but it was IN selfridges…! Plus lets face it you wont get a jacket from there for 20quid!) Ive just tried to find it online to show you but its disappeared! If you spot it try it on its really nice x

Right I must rush off lots to do for Easter, our Apparel launch is also on countdown along with our Pet Range! Eeeeek!! Finally getting near that finish post with all the lovely changes for LDJ.

Wow I really cant believe its the 1st Feb! How did that happen?
Got loads to tell you… Firstly… YES! Our Apparel IS on its way. I promise! Its my fault – I keep pushing the launch date, im sorry to keep teasing you!! The reason (this time) is because I’ve come across an amazing stockist for some great new products to add and really different clothing styles, like over-sized tees, cropped tees and really nice vests for the summer – you’re going to love them! We can even get gorgeous organic cotton tees if thats your thing AND I’m happy that they wont be splashed over every other Facebook personalised clothing page so hopefully it’ll be a refreshing change (plus our designs are fabulous!)…

What else do I have to tell you? Ooh yes, we now have a puppy! Shes adorable! ♥ Shes a tiny Yorkie-Ton (crossed with a Yorkie and a Coton de Tulear) We’ve had her for 4 weeks now and Im so tired! Poppy will be able to go for her first walk on Tuesday – the kids cant wait so its harness/lead shopping for us this weekend x Any tips you have please throw them my way! & Watch this space for our •NEW• Puppy range!! ❤

About Me…
I love anything arty, I love quirky little shops and anything handmade. I adore my children and feel so lucky to be blessed with a girl and a boy, although trying at times they are my world! My family & friends are very important to me – so is matte lipstick, laughter, chocolate, shopping & putting my feet up with my husband and enjoying a takeaway with a gin & tonic or 3 – when we’re not allowed out to party ? But that’s enough about me cos after all – my products are all about you!

About Love Designer Jutes…
The story of my jute bag journey started simply. It began Christmas 2012 when I wanted to purchase personalised jute bags for my daughter and 2 nieces. Like many families, my siblings and I kind of set a budget for each child’s gifts. I soon realised there was no way I could buy them all jute bags – and you know what girls are like – you can’t buy one without the other can you!?

So as I scrolled down the options of various sellers I didn’t really feel like I was buying a ‘personalised’ gift. Yes there was options to change hair & eyes but I was faced with many restrictions on outfit choices and accessories and really none of it reflected the girl’s individual personalities anyway. That’s when I made my own, in my own style. I was so proud of my designs that I also made other family members one for Christmas too… and they LOVED them!

Soon I was busy enough to make it a business. Now ‘Love Designer Jutes’ is a brand, not just completely personalised, beautiful and AFFORDABLE jute bags but other gorgeous products too and it just keeps growing – come and have a nosey in my Shop.
